Raheny is situated on the North Side of Dublin and is split in two by the archery road of the Howth Road (R105). It is well served by public transport with many Bus routes from Dublin Bus (29A, 31, 32, 32A, 32B, 105, 129 and the night services of 29N and 31N). With Raheny railway station serviced by the Dart.
There are beautiful views in Raheny of the Dublin Coast and in many cases you can see the whole of Dublin Bay from Bull Island through to Dalkey island many miles across the Bay to the south.
There are many parks in Raheny but some of the more famous ones are the Nature reserve of North Bull Island, the 5km beach of Dollymount Strand and the amazing and beautiful St Anne's Park which has over 500 acres of mature woodland, lakes and playing fields.
